FAQ
Who is this ministry for?
Crest Friends is for children, students, and adults with special needs and their families! Our desire is to create a welcoming, supportive environment where individuals of all abilities can build friendships, grow in their faith, and experience the love of Jesus. Everyone deserves a place to belong!
What should a first-time visitor expect?
You can expect a warm welcome from a caring team that is excited to get to know you! Our Sunday morning classes provide opportunities for Bible study, fellowship, and meaningful connections in a supportive environment. We strive to help everyone feel valued, included, and comfortable as they learn about Jesus.
What is the impact of this ministry?
In support of our broader church mission, the ultimate goal of our Special Needs Ministry is to lead individuals and families affected by unique learning needs into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ by building relationships over time.
What other events do you offer?
Along with our Sunday morning classes, Crest Friends offers opportunities for fellowship, special events, and community outreach throughout the year.
One of our favorite events is Night to Shine, a special prom experience that celebrates individuals with special needs and reminds them how loved and valued they are. These gatherings provide opportunities to build friendships, make lasting memories, and experience the joy of community.

How can I serve in this ministry?
We want our class members to experience the privilege of serving in their church and the joy of fellowship with one another as they serve! Our Friends serve alongside other ministries by gathering donated supplies for different ministry projects, among other things.
