We are excited for the 2026-2027 school year in AWANA + Sword Drill! Thank you for your willingness to serve the kids of Southcrest!

AWANA runs September 2nd - April 28th from 6:00-7:15pm.

Sword Drill runs October 7th - March 10th from 7:30-8:00pm.

Come join us for AWANA, our fun discipleship program for kids ages 2 yrs–4th grade! We meet on Wednesday nights from 6 -7:15 pm; the cost is $10/child. Help us prepare for your child by registering early!

Join our Worship Choir + Orchestra! No audition needed and we will provide child care.

We meet every Wednesday from 6:00-7:30 pm during the school year.

Wednesday night rehearsals start back Sept 2, 2026.

The Journey Homegroup kicks off Thursday, September 3rd at 7:00 PM! Each Thursday, we’ll go more in-depth into the TNG sermon series Deconstructing, creating space to explore the message and grow together.

Are you looking for an opportunity to serve our community? Come out to the Lubbock Dream Center on September 5 at 8 am and help us serve others as we provide free breakfast, pack grocery bags and work in the clothing closet. Be sure to sign up to let us know you're coming. See you then!

Crest Care is on September 11 from 6–9:30 pm for children ages 6 weeks - 5th grade. Members, drop your kids off and enjoy your night! Cost is $10/child; pizza is provided. Register by Sept 6 at midnight, or until capacity is reached.

Learn how to share your faith confidently in our evangelistic-inspired course led by Val Cudnoski. Join us on Mondays, September 14, 21, 28, and October 5 in Room 1000/Door D from 6-7 pm. Please register and bring a notebook and pen to class!

Please join us on Sunday, September 20, for a great time as we enjoy a delicious dinner followed by a great evening of Hymn Singing led by Nick and Michelle Watts at 6pm in The Venue. The cost is $10 per person - chicken, fish, fried okra, pinto beans, hush puppies, and cobbler will be served. Register online or in the Pastoral Office!

Welcome! Selah is a space for moms to pause, breathe, and connect with one another. Whether you're brand new or returning, we can't wait to spend time with you! We'll have a coffee bar and breakfast ready for you when you get here. If you'll need childcare, please be sure to register your children at least two weeks before the meeting date. We're so looking forward to seeing you!

Hey College students! We hope you'll join us at Fort Lone Tree for "REVIVAL", our Journey Fall Retreat! The cost is $100 for students + $75 for freshmen. We can't wait to see you there!

Griefshare is a support group for anyone grieving the loss of a loved one. Open to the Lubbock community, the group meets on Tuesdays at 1:30pm or 6:00pm from August 18 - November 10.

If you are a caregiver for a loved one, we are happy to introduce you to our Caregivers Ministry. We meet on the first and third Thursdays of the month from 10 am - Noon and this is a time for caregivers and their loved ones to be ministered to.
