Family Ministry
Our Mission
The Southcrest Family Ministry exists to help newly weds through empty nesters find their greatest pleasure and purpose in Jesus by supporting the family unit during each stage of life. We work closely with our other ministries to develop a holistic journey.
Gather
Each summer, we travel to New Mexico for Family Camp which is a special time to step away from the busyness of life and draw closer as a family. With fun activities for all ages, meaningful times of worship, and an encouraging word, this is an excellent opportunity to grow together and make lasting memories as a family.
Community + Connection
Grow
Whether you're a newly wed or raising children, we believe that family starts as soon as two are joined as one. There are many opportunities to grow through courses such as Re-Engage, Family Legacy Foundations, and more! Be on the lookout for Wednesday night classes during the school year.
We encourage you to find a LIFE Group that meets through out the year!
Serve + Go
Join us for Service Saturday on the first Saturday of each month at the Lubbock Dream Center. This is a great opportunity for families with school-aged children to serve together as we support our community.
We put up registration two weeks before each event.

Most NextGen gatherings (i.e. Sunday activities) happen in The Venue on the east side of the building near Doors C and D. Canyon Nights and IF Gatherings are located in The Venue.
